Have you ever wondered if the foundation you wore to work today was tested on animals? If your brand is included in our list, then the answer is probably yes!
Our list for non-cruelty-free brands includes all cosmetic brands that do test on animals or market their products in mainland China (where animal testing is required by law).

With hundreds of cruelty-free and vegan makeup brands in the market. You have more options and variety that you can imagine. It’s a great time to switch to cruelty-free and to do that, you should know which brands to avoid.

Let’s get on with the list!

Cosmetic Brands that Sell their Products in China:

If a cosmetic brand markets its products in China then it does animal testing. There are many cosmetic brands that don’t test their products on animals unless required by law.

The animal testing laws in China prohibits cosmetic brand from selling their product until it’s tested on animals. In simple words, if cosmetic brand markets in China then it’s not cruelty-free.

Our list includes all makeup brands that sell their product in China.

Cosmetic Brands that Do Test on Animals:

Animal testing is an ugly truth of the glamorous cosmetic industry. If your makeup is made by brands that do test on animals, then take a moment to think about the cat or rabbit that went through hell for it!

Approximately 100,000 – 200,000 animals suffer or die from cosmetic testing. Animal rights organizations like PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals)
are working day and night to end this modern-day barbarity.

Sadly, the number of non-cruelty-free brands is still less than animal-friendly brands. You and I together can change that.

Our list includes cosmetic brands that test their product on animals verified by PETA. It’s a pretty long list, and to make it shorter, we must refuse to shop from these brands and let them know why we switched to a different brand.

Animal testing is inhumane and it should end but as long as people keep shopping from these brands, they will thrive. These brands still have millions of loyal customers worldwide. It’s time to change that!
