QV is cruelty-free

Yes. QV is 100% cruelty-free. This means that they do not test their products on animals, nor are any of the ingredients used in their products tested on animals. This also means that they do not test on animals in countries where this is required by law.

Do QV sell their products in Mainland China?

No. Their products are not sold in Mainland China. They do ship their products to China via their website.

As per the China & Cosmetics Animal Testing FAQ by the Humane Society International:

What about e-commerce?

Pre- and post-market testing requirements do not apply to cosmetics ordered by customers via an ecommerce website if the website and fulfilment is outside of mainland China, and products posted direct to the customer in China. So, a cruelty-free company could sell products to Chinese customers via a website without concern for animal testing.

Certifications

QV is not certified by any cruelty-free organization currently.

Is QV Vegan?

Yes. QV is 100% vegan, which means that no ingredients used in their products are derived from animals.

  1. Hi, I was wondering if QV would still be considered non-cruelty free as I recently saw this on their website
    “Hi there,
We don’t sell our products in ‘bricks-and-mortar’ stores in China. We sell via online platforms into China, with the stock being shipped from Hong Kong. This allows us to avoid having to conduct animal testing on our products.
    Kind Regards,
    Ego Pharmaceuticals”
    Thank you for your help

  2. This is literally at the top of the page – “a cruelty-free company could sell products to Chinese customers via a website without concern for animal testing.”
I believe this already answers your question.

  4. Why do QV/Ego pharmaceuticals not have a cruelty free certification from any cruelty free organisations?
Do they sell products to any other country that does test on animals?
